Infini Alchemy FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about Infini Alchemy

How do I play Infini Alchemy?

It’s simple! Start by dragging basic elements (like Water or Fire) from the sidebar onto the main workspace. Drag one element on top of another to combine them. If the combination is valid, a new artifact will be created!

What is an “AlchemyBook”?

An AlchemyBook is a file that contains all the elements and recipes for a specific game mode. The default game comes with a standard AlchemyBook, but the engine supports loading different books for entirely new themes and challenges.

What happens if a combination doesn’t work?

If two elements don’t combine to form something new, they will simply stack or move aside. Don’t worry, just try a different pair!

How do I clear the workspace?

You can drag items off the workspace area to remove them, or simply refresh the page to clear the main canvas (don’t worry, your discovered items are saved).

Can I see how to make an item I’ve already found?

Yes! Simply click or tap on any item in your “Discovered Artifacts” list. A dialog will appear showing the formula (recipe) used to create it.

What is “Prompt Mode” and what does the “✅” symbol mean?

Prompt Mode is a helpful feature (enabled in Settings) that guides your discovery process. When enabled, artifacts in your list may display a “✅” checkmark.

  • The Checkmark (✅): This indicates a Finalized artifact. An artifact is finalized if you have already discovered all possible combinations that require it as an ingredient.
  • Pruning Your Focus: If an item has a checkmark, you don’t need to try combining it with other things anymore to find new items. This helps you focus your experimentation on the elements that still have hidden potential!

How does the language learning feature work?

Infini Alchemy is designed to help you learn vocabulary through repetition. Every time you click an element or synthesize a new one, its name is read aloud using Text-to-Speech technology. This helps reinforce the association between the object, the word, and its pronunciation.

What is the “A2 Key Exam AlchemyBook”?

The A2 Key Exam (KET) AlchemyBook is a specialized vocabulary set containing approximately 500 essential words for the Cambridge A2 Key English Test. It transforms exam preparation into a discovery journey, covering topics from daily life and family to technology and health. By synthesizing these words, students can master the entire KET vocabulary list through natural, logical progression and audio reinforcement.

Is there audio?

Yes, the game features text-to-speech audio for element names. You can ensure your device’s volume is up to hear the pronunciations.

What if the audio (TTS) is not working?

If you can’t hear the pronunciations:

  1. Check Settings: Ensure Text-to-Speech is enabled in the game’s settings menu.
  2. Device Volume: Check that your device volume is turned up and not on silent mode.
  3. Android System Setup: On Android devices, if audio is still missing, please check your system settings:
    • Go to Settings > Languages & input > Text-to-speech output (or search for “Text-to-speech” in Settings).
    • Ensure a preferred engine (like Google Speech Services) is selected and the language data is installed.
    • You can use the “Play example” button in system settings to verify that your device’s TTS engine is functioning correctly.

Does the game save my progress?

Yes! Your discovered artifacts and synthesis count are automatically saved in your browser’s local storage. You can close the tab and come back later to continue your journey.

Does the game work on mobile?

Absolutely! Infini Alchemy is optimized for both desktop and mobile devices. You can drag and drop elements using your finger on touchscreens. We’ve optimized the experience so you can scroll the artifact list by touching the background, and drag items by touching the items themselves.

How get the game?

The game is availble at Google Play(for Android) and Windows Store(for Windows).
