What is RESET-0?
RESET-0: Entropy Architect is an incremental idle game about rebuilding the universe. You collect Ω (Omega) — the universe’s own information — by reading the cosmic microwave background, igniting stars, mining black holes, and computing at the scale of event horizons, then use it to design and ignite the next universe.
What kind of game is this — idle, clicker, strategy?
It’s an incremental/idle game at its core, but each of its eight phases introduces different mechanics — clicking, automation, resource balancing, even a self-referential computing branch — so it plays more like a series of connected systems than a single repeating loop.
What is Ω (Omega)?
Ω is the resource you spend the whole game accumulating. It represents the amount of usable information you’ve extracted from the dying cosmos. The win condition is reaching about 10^122 Ω — the Bekenstein–Hawking entropy bound, the real physical limit on how much information the observable universe can hold.
Why 10^122?
It’s not just a big round number — 10^122 is more than a googol (10^100), the number most people already think of as absurdly large, by a factor of roughly 10^22. It comes from real physics: applying the Bekenstein–Hawking bound to the horizon area of the observable universe gives an information capacity on the order of 10^122 bits. That’s the actual physical ceiling on how much can be known about this universe, which is why RESET-0 sets it as the goal.
What happens when I reach 10^122 Ω?
You reach the Reset Forge, the final phase. There you audit your universe into legacy packets, choose a reset route, and ignite a new universe — carrying forward constants, tech, or advantages depending on the route you pick.
Is there permadeath, or do I lose progress on reset?
Resetting is the goal, not a setback. Each reset starts a new universe with conditions shaped by your previous run rather than from zero. From your second run onward, the Echo Exchange also lets you trade physical constants with the player who inherits your next universe.
Are there multiple ways to play through the game?
Yes. Two branch phases — Self-Reference Computing and Curvature Stabilization — divert the standard phase chain depending on the reset route you choose, so different runs can unlock different mechanics.
Can I have more than one universe or save going at once?
Yes. RESET-0 keeps every run in its own isolated Universe Slot, viewable in the Slot Archive. You can start a new slot at any time without touching your other runs, and each slot tracks its own phase progress, Ω, and reset history independently.
Can I export or import my save?
Yes. Any slot can be exported to a saved-universe file, and that file can be imported again to create a brand-new slot from it — useful for backing up a run, moving it to another device, or sharing a save state. Importing always creates a new slot rather than overwriting an existing one.
What are the physical constants, and how do they affect gameplay?
RESET-0 tracks four physical constants — c, G, h, and lambda — that quietly shape the math behind every phase: c affects speed and coordination, G affects mass and gravity-driven output, h affects noise and quantum volatility, and lambda affects expansion drag and disconnection. They stay fixed for an entire run; the only way to change them is by choosing how they’re reassigned at the Reset Forge when you ignite the next universe — making that choice the main long-term strategy lever across runs.
Does RESET-0 have ads or in-app purchases?
No. It’s a one-time purchase with no ads and no additional in-app purchases.
Does RESET-0 support a game controller?
Yes, on Windows and Xbox. The game supports full gamepad navigation alongside mouse and touch input. Controller support is not yet available on Android.
